AR United Kingdom LTD Names Dr. Tom Cantle New Managing Director
Kevin Hutchinson Retires after lifelong service to AR.
Limerick, Ireland — September 1, 2009 — AR United Kingdom Ltd (formerly known as EMV Ltd) has announced that long-time managing director Kevin Hutchinson has retired after a lifetime of exceptional service to AR.
"His commitment and professionalism will be missed," said Donald "Shep" Shepherd, Chairman of the AR companies, "However, we accept his decision to retire and we are pleased to welcome Dr. Tom Cantle to position of managing director of AR UK."
Dr. Cantle brings extensive and varied industry experience to AR United Kingdom. Prior to a 12-year term as president of Eudyna Devices Europe (formerly Fujitsu), Tom held technical positions with Hittite Microwave Corporation of Europe, ACAL, and spent many years as a design engineer concentrating on solid state power amplifiers, LN amplifiers, ferrite devices, filters, and various receiver technologies. He has a Bachelor of Science and a PhD in Electronics from the University of Kent, and an MBA from the Open University.
